We participate in several community events throughout the year, such as a community food drive, senior citizen outreach, book fairs and much more. In addition, our Christmas program is a long-standing tradition that allows parents, grandparents and additional family members/friends to see their precious little ones celebrate the season through singing and other merrymaking.
Additional Programs for Kindergarten-5th Grade
Before- & After-School Care | Faith Christian Academy students in Kindergarten-5th Grade
The Sonshine Center before- and after-school program provides a safe environment for Faith Christian Academy students to come before or after school hours. The after-school staff allows students to work on homework and provides weekly themes around learning and activities to help the students feel connected. Students enjoy a fun and engaging environment while parents have peace of mind as they work.
Before-school care is provided anytime between 6:30-7:45AM, at which time kids are walked outside to line up with their class.
After-school care is provided anytime between 3-6PM on all days Faith Christian Academy is in session for regular school days. There is no after-school care if there’s no school that day or if K-5 has a half-day.
Summer Camp | Kids from any school who are entering 1st-5th Grade
The Sonshine Center’s Summer Camp allows kids to enjoy a rich day-camp experience full of fun and energetic activities that make for great summertime memories. At the same time, kids practice the art of friendship, as best demonstrated by Jesus. Each child learns to care for each other, develop strong interpersonal skills, and deal effectively with emotions. Our dedicated staff creates a supportive environment that includes special activities such as Bible study, fine arts, cooking, and group games.
Summer camp is provided Monday-Friday anytime between 6:30AM-6PM. (No half-day option.)

You run this center like a business that loves children and it shows in all that you do.

What a wonderful time our family had last night at the "Christmas Program." We would be remiss if we did not commend you and your staff for all the time and effort put into showing all of the families what shining stars our children are! My family and I have been blessed by the ministry of the Sonshine Center and the Preschool teachers. The teachers have such a dedication to their classrooms and to seeing that each child performs to the best of his or her ability. We have had such wonderful crafts completed in the classrooms that we will keep forever. Both of my boys were so grieved to leave the teachers when they were too old to stay. The preschool staff are treasures and we are grateful that they were there to bless our children!
